This is a declared "mournful but beautiful" fic. It touches
on a very tender subject, and is full of powerful themes and messages.
It's a dark fic and is incredibly sad. It's got death and very mature
themes beyond just sex. This fic is doubly powerful to me for several reasons.
First, it was started because I owed Pluto an fic with AyaxYouji pairing in
exchange for the black angel drawing she did me. The inspiration hit when
I was listening to the song "One Song Glory" (click
for mp3 & lyrics) sung by Roger from the popular
musical RENT. After getting touched by it, again, I set about writing the fic.
Shortly after part one was posted, I was informed my cousin Alfonso,
age 25, had drowned. This was hard enough to deal with, but his mother, my favourite
aunt, is/was dying of cancer. She's on her last leg, and I know that with Alf's
death, she's going to loose her will and die. This isn't so much important to know
at all about the story, it just gives you the frame of mind I was in when writing
it. Those thoughts and One Song Glory on repeat brought this out.
I determined to make it the most depressing Weiß kreuz fic on the 'net.
The original title was "Sex and Consequences". "One Song Glory" has very little
to do with the story itself, but I like the title muchmuchmuch more.
