This based on, and directly derived from a roleplay between myself and my friend Tiga Shadow. We've been doing some Weiß kreuz roleplays for quite a while now, and I wanted to play something that had a similar feel to my I Exist Only For Another, but when I mentioned wings she deduced Van Fanel, from Escaflowne. She toyed with the idea of a KenxVan fic, but I wasn't too keen on it. I don't like crossovers much, and I never have pictured Van gay.
But, I agreed to play, and as the story progressed, it was actually getting pretty good. It jumps from the WK world to Gaea rather fast, and while it's not necessary to know anything about Van/Escaflowne to enjoy the fic, it'd help a lot. This is set in the middle of the WK timeline and after the TV series for Escaflowne.
Please bear in mind that Van Fanel is only sixteen in this story. I don't consider it shotakon at all myself, but some might [right, you all read GW yaoi too, so go away :p].
Note: Contains shounen-ai and yaoi themes. Rating is NC-17.
