Don't go where I can't follow!

This is a piece of angst-fluff that struck me unawares when I was watching the Sean Astin movie Toy Soldiers. What this has to do with that movie is unclear, even to me. I just loved the emotional angst Sean Astin's character Billy showed when he watched his best friend get killed. I wanted something with that degree of emotion, but this story ended up fluffier than I intended. Oh well. I get my angst out on When Hope Has Failed. Summary is Sam finally goes over the sea after sixty-three years of waiting only to find that his dreams won't come true after all.
In other news, if anyone has a screengrab or the ability to screengrab the scene of Billy being held back by his other friends during the death scene, I'd be much obliged to get a copy of the picture to use instead of what I currently have up.
