Welcome to my Layout Description page. This page will change each time the
layout for my main page is updated and the comments will be archieved. I realized a lot
of the layouts I've made need credit given or that I'd like to elaborate more on who/why
the layout was chosen. Please enjoy.

Current Layout: The Beatles
This layout is dedicated to The Beatles, the popular band that came into the world in the 1960's, and left where nothing could ever be the same again. With the previous layout, I had streamlined a lot of the sections that used to be avaliable on crackerboxpalace.com, compiling them down to four categories with about 6 links in each section, and I've kept most of that compilation. However, I've actually removed a few more links that were more or less inactive. Owing to my love of The Beatles, I thought I should try to expand my HTML skills. When I got into webdesign in 1996, there weren't a whole lot of tricks on doing things, and I never really grew much. However, I had this idea of using the road from Abbey Road and inserting the Beatles on top of it, so that one popped up with each link. It required image slicing, and mouse rollovers, neither of which I knew how to do. So, after some trials and mishaps, a lot of JavaScript reading, I finally got it! The background image of Abbey Road without the Beatles on it was editted by me from a recently picture of Abbey Road, spliced together with the Abbey Road album cover image. I then cut each Beatle out, and pasted him over where he was, and image sliced it. I think it worked pretty darned well!
There are various pictures of The Beatles throughout the page, all taken from websites online. I can't recall specific sites, or names, but since they're all available online, I see them as public domain. All have been doctored and/or editted by me to fit the needs of the page, as well. With this layout, I've abandoned the kodoma that have so often graced my pages in the past, opting to move away from the anime view, as I'm not overly associated with the genre anymore.
Font-wise the text on the Abbey Road image is Chiller. I don't think I used any other fonts. :) I'm rather proud of this layout, and very pleased to get it up, as Dominic Keating prior to this was up far longer than I had anticipated. Please enjoy The Beatles! I think that's all the credit that's due! Thank you George, John, Paul, and Ringo for letting me use your beautiful visages on my little homepage!
